Noah Legel
Owner/Chief Instructor of Arizona Practical Karate
Noah Legel has been training in martial arts since 2006, having started in Shuri-Ryu karate and Judo in Illinois, until 2008 when he moved to Arizona. He continued training in Judo in Mesa, AZ, and studying and training in karate at home, until 2010, when he met Richard Poage, who would become his Sensei in Shorin-Ryu karate. Poage Sensei also had a background in Shootfighting and Japanese jujutsu, which he incorporated into training. In 2014, Noah also began training in a rare Okinawan martial art, known as KishimotoDi, under Ulf Karlsson. In the time he has been training, Noah has cross-trained and competed with people from a wide variety of other arts and styles, including Goju-Ryu, Kyokushin, Taekwondo, Kung Fu, Boxing, Muay Thai, Aikido, BJJ, and Catch Wrestling.
